Yolanda L. King

Born in Bronx New York on July 6, 1978, she is the younger of two daughters born to John and Delma Laurel.

She spent her early years growing up in the East Tremont section of the Bronx and in 1994 she relocated with her family to Orange County New York.  She attended Middletown High School, where she graduated with honors and a NYS Regent’s diploma.  June 2016, Yolanda received her Associates Degree in Arts from Empire State College, where she is currently enrolled pursing her Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Administration. In April 2016, Yolanda achieved her certification as a Professional Medical Coder.

On August 03, 1997 Yolanda Laurel was baptized and in the year of 2003 she decided to completely give herself to the Lord. At the age of twenty seven she was called into the gospel ministry and on May 27, 2007 she was licensed as an Evangelist to preach and teach the gospel by the St. Paul Baptist Church in Middletown New York under the leadership of Dr. Ray Anthony King. Since then, she has completed two years of religious studies at Community Bible Institute-a division of the Sparrow Spring School of Theology where she plans to continue to further her studies in the near future. 

In December of 2008, Evangelist Yolanda Laurel joined in Holy Matrimony to Rev. Dr. Ray A. King, Senior Pastor of the St. Paul Baptist Church in Middletown New York, where she is affectionately known as "Lady".

On January 3, 2010 Evangelist King was ordained into the Gospel Ministry. 

On January 30, 2011, Elder King was appointed Assistant Pastor of the St. Paul Baptist Church.

She is the Chairperson of the Board of Presbyters, a faithful member of the Sunday School Department as well as a Sunday School Teacher.

She served as Interim Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church of Ferndale New York, Women's Ministry Overseer (seven years), a member of the Trustee Board (nine years), Sunday School Superintendent, Chairperson of the cleaning ministry, Prayer Band Leader, Chairperson of the Ordinations and Conferrals Committee of Deliverance Tabernacle Fellowship Ministries where Bishop J. Bernard Richardson is the Presiding Bishop and National Women's President of Church Alive Ministries International Inc., where Bishop Donald J. Washington is the Chief Presiding Bishop. 

On May 27, 2017, Elder Yolanda King was admitted to the rank of Associate Academician of the Eastern Theological Consortium National & International by Chancellor/ President The Abuna His Soverign Grace Archbishop Herman R. Canady Jr., Christ Theological Seminary.

Elder Yolanda King is the newly founder/organizer of “My Sisters Keeper” women’s ministry; a spiritual resource given by the divine source (GOD) to help souls regain their strength, power, identity, anointing, vision, dreams, position, posture, peace and spiritual gifts in order to effectively tackle the enemy and become victorious in the kingdom of God . Elder King spearheaded a “Giving Back Campaign” where 158 filled (toiletries, books, and other “survival” items) handbags were donated to 9 different domestic abuse and homeless shelters in 4 different counties in the Hudson Valley.

 As a woman of God, she desires to build a stronger relationship with the Lord and is determined to serve God and not be served! She gives God all the glory and honor for him calling her, choosing her and using her in such a time as this! She is a daughter, a sister, a friend, a devoted and loving mother to her daughters Shania Lorae and Amari Irene and four common-children God has blessed her with through marriage, Donovan Xavier, Devon Anthony, Joel Immanuel and Janae Imani.

Pastor Yolanda King has dedicated herself to being an Ambassador for Christ (An official representative of the highest ranked) to declare to men, women, boys and girls everywhere that no matter what your circumstance is, no matter what the situation may be, if God does not change the condition, He will condition you for the change! Most of all she is a Woman of God who is not afraid to rightly divide Gods word amongst the lost!
